Riverfront · Soldotna, Alaska
The largest residence at Kenai River Private Residences — 2,088 turnkey square feet on the bank, with shared stairs down to the river and the community fishing platform just steps from the door.
The Lodge
At 2,088 square feet on a single ground level, the Main Lodge lives larger than anything else on the property — two bedrooms, two baths, and a skylit office and great room at its heart, where the TV and the daylight pour in. A separate morning kitchen and eating area opens onto the porch, ideal for cookouts.
Remodeled inside and out: an updated formal kitchen and baths, new flooring, fresh interior doors and trim, replaced windows, a new boiler and water heater, and an attached greenhouse off the back. No stairs to climb — everything is on one level, right at riverbank grade.
Two bedrooms and two baths across the rear; the formal kitchen & dining, living/great room, and morning kitchen through the middle; and the office opening onto the covered porches and riverfront deck along the front.
What's inside
The remodeled formal kitchen — fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and full-size appliances, stocked and ready to cook.
A compact eating-and-cooking area with its own porch access — perfect for coffee at sunrise and cookouts on the deck.
A bright great room under skylights with a TV, set up as a comfortable workspace — easy to settle in for a working stay.
Step out to the deck on the bank, with shared stairs down to the water and the community fishing platform.
Beds, linens, towels, kitchenware — arrive with a bag and a fishing rod, nothing else needed.
High-speed wireless internet throughout, with streaming TV like YouTube TV — work the day, stream the game at night.
Two full sets of washers and dryers inside the unit, plus ample parking right outside the door.
A sunny greenhouse off the back of the lodge, full of flowers and a quiet place to sit.
No stairs to the door. The entire 2,088 sq ft sits at grade, level with the riverbank.
The River
Kenai River Private Residences has its own bank fishing right on the property — red salmon run straight past the lodge. King, silver, and pink salmon, rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden all share the water. The season runs May through September, and the Main Lodge sits in the middle of all of it.
Walk down the stairs to the fishing platform and cast for sockeye, kings, silvers, pinks, rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden — no boat, no drive.
Guided king fishing on the Kenai or the Kasilof, halibut on the Cook Inlet, and fly-out float-plane trips for bear viewing and salmon.
Central in Soldotna and easy day trips to Homer, Seward, Deep Creek, and Cooper Landing — the lodge is your home base for all of it.
